    I have been so busy these days that I can't help knowing that the exact day of Chongyang Festival has gone.

    he Chongyang Festival falls on the ninth day of the ninth month of the Chinese lunar calendar, so it is also known as the Double Ninth Festival. It has been an important festival since ancient times.

    The festival is held in the golden seanson of autumn,at the harvest-time. The bright clear weather and the joy of bringing in the harvest make for a festive happy atmosphere. The Double Ninth Festival is usually perfect for outdoor avtivities. Many people go hiking and climbing in the country,enjoying Mother Nature's final burst of color before she puts on her dull winter cloak.

    Since nine is the highest odd digit, people take two of them together to signify longevity. Therefore, the ninth day of the ninth month has become a special day for people to pay their respects to elderly and a day for the elderly to enjoy themselves. It has also been declared China's day for the elderly.

    So what did you do to honor your parents on the the Double Ninth Festival?

    最近太忙了，以致于一翻日历才发现重阳节原来早就过去了。

    农历九月九日，为传统的重阳节。从古代起这就是一个重要的节日。

    重阳节发生在金秋——丰收的时刻。晴空万里，丰收的喜悦一起构筑了节日欢庆的气氛。人们喜欢在这个时节外出活动，登高望远，享受大自然银装素裹前迸发的色彩缤纷。

    由于九是最大的个位数，两个九就代表长寿。因此，重阳节就成为人们敬老的节日，也是中国公认的老年节。

    因此在重阳的时候你是如何向父母祝贺节日的呢？

    或者你和我一样都忘了这个节日？

I am so sorry that i have just known that double ninth festival is a day to pay respects to eldly.therefore i didn't do anything that day to show my respects to my parents.Then next time i will do that. I think as our world develops,more and more traditional festivals despear,and we celebrate foreign festivals.i think this is not so good.we should persereve our traditional things.

I forgot that day.

I remember that day ,but i not take tel to my moher

That day was my two classmates’birthday，so I gave my best wishes to them！Anyway， we always say that this festival is for old people, and I never think that my parents are old now,so I didn't say anything to them on that day.

I was having my annual leave and staying in my hometown. And I was going to climb the hill with my fmailies. It's a beautiful place with fresh air. we went there in the morning and saw the dew on the leaves and flowers, under the sunshine looked wonderful.

I am very sorry I forgot this festival that day.And I love my parents very much ,I hope they be happiness forever.

I remember the chongyang that when my friends blessing with me.but that day i were go to work doesn`t ask for a leave from my boss.what a pity!!!

i received one message from my friend.

From above, I feel that I am so soryy to my parents, I won't call them if I have no important things to tell them .But I love them very much, I think I must cencer them every time!so I will.

I have not realised the meaning of the festival,feeling not so deep sensitive to it.On Chongyang festival,only one friend sended me a message for wishes,while a variety of other festivals that may not be restrictly defined such as 光棍节 are more popular among we stuents.In my hometown,there is no a custom of spending this kind of festival.Maybe it indicates the area diffiences in China.

That day is quite important for me because it is my mother's birthday! But in my hometown pepople seldom pay attention to this festival. In fact I think it doesn't matter if someone forgets this day. We can express our gratitude to our parents at any time.

i remember that day ,because i had wanted to climb high but finally climb to the forth floor of the company house.perhaps i have called my parents that night but i couldn't remember it now. i missed my boy that day,it's a missing day.

I was having a militia training on the chongyang Festival, so I am
very sorry that I can't take a phone to my parent , but I still wish them happy ahd healthy in my heart!
