　　Dear Mr. President,

　　I am a senior of the business school. I write on behalf of myself and my fellow students to complain about the canteen service on campus.

　　To start with, the poor quality of the food is the last thing we would bear. Although it has been greatly improves since you took the presidency, it still leaves much room to be desired. The cooked rice is just too hard for us to chew, and the vegetables and meat are either too sweet or too salty to swallow, to name only a few. Sometimes, they even provide us with food that has already turned sour.

　　The price of the food is surprisingly high as well. For instance, it is at its most common place that the canteen offers some food at a price 50% higher than off-campus restaurants. We have no option but to dine out.

　　As to the dining environment, I have only two words: dirty, disgusting. And the cold attitude of the service staff has also fueled much complaint.

　　In a word, the canteen service never pleased us!

　　I sincerely hope the school board would no longer pay lip service and you would take our complaint seriously.

　　Should you wish to discuss the matter in person I would be happy to visit your office at a time of your convenience.
