国徽是一个国家最集中、最简洁、最传神的象征。在庄严的国徽上，除有关图案外，有些国家还在上面写上一句带有哲理性的简洁格言，以表达该国人民、该民族的特点、信仰和夙愿。

　　India(印度)：The truth is above anything. 真理高于一切。

　　Nepal(尼泊尔)：The motherland is even more valuable than the paradise. 祖国比天堂还宝贵。

　　Nigeria(尼日利亚)：Unity and confidence. 团结和信心。

　 Zambia(赞比亚)：One Zambia, a nationality. 一个赞比亚，一个民族。

　　Burma(缅甸)：Harmony and the life in good order contain the happiness. 和谐而有秩序的生活蕴藏着幸福。

　　Bolivia(玻利维亚)：God, honor, motherland. 上帝、荣誉、祖国。

　　France(法国)：Liberty, equality, fraternity. 自由、平等、博爱。（注：之前写为freedom，经Bruce提醒，已修正，特表示感谢^-^）

　　Norway(挪威)：All is for Norway. 一切为了挪威。

　　Switzerland(瑞士)：All, for everybody; everybody, for a person. 一切为大家，大家为一人。

　　Singapore(新加坡)：Advance, Singapore. 前进吧，新加坡。

　　Belgium(比利时)：Unity is the strength. 团结就是力量。

　　New Zealand(新西兰)：Honest forever. 永远正直。

　　Britain(英国)：Evil is rewarded with evil. Right of God and me. 恶有恶报。上帝和我的权力。

　　U.S.A.(美国)：It is one to shut ally. 合众为一。

    A guy spots a sign outside a house that reads "Talking Dog for Sale." Intrigued, he walks in.

    "So what have you done with your life?" he asks the dog.

    "I’ve led a very full life," says the dog. "I lived in the Alps rescuing avalanche victims. Then I served my country in Iraq. And now I spend my days reading to the residents of a retirement home."

    The guy is flabbergasted. He asks the dog’s owner, "Why on earth would you want to get rid of an incredible dog like that?"

    The owner says, "Because he’s a liar! He never did any of that!"
